Meet Shannon Snedeker, Application Specialist
Why did you apply at Sectra?
I applied at Sectra after having been an end user of the PACS system for several years. I always enjoyed working with both the product and the employees who would visit the site. When I found the position posted online, I knew I wanted to be a part of the Sectra team.
What does a typical work day look like for you?
A typical work day for me is spent working on helpdesk tickets and resolving any application issues or questions the customer is having with their system. Most of my day is spent working directly with our customers, performing troubleshooting and training.
I am passionate about making a difference in the care patients receive. Everything I do, whether it be answering a Radiologist’s question or assisting a technologist with reviewing their images, ultimately helps a patient.
What do you like most about your job?
I really like learning new things and figuring out how things work. In my position, I get to troubleshoot some complex issues and each one is a learning experience. I enjoy working together with my colleagues and learning something new every day.
What are the values that drive you?
I am driven by my dedication to helping others. I enjoy helping our customers work more efficiently and provide better patient care.
What are you most passionate about?
Having worked in a hospital setting for several years, I know the challenges patients face. I am passionate about making a difference in the care they receive. Everything we do, whether it be answering a Radiologist’s question or assisting a technologist with reviewing their images, ultimately helps a patient.
