We offer various types of student opportunities, including master’s thesis, summer internship, part-time work and longer temporary assignments during study breaks.

Master’s thesis

Our master’s thesis program is an important part of our goal of being at the forefront of technology. 20+ students join Sectra annually to take on real challenges in medical imaging and cybersecurity. Each project is shaped by combining Sectra’s focus areas with our thesis students’ own interests and ambitions.

Summer internship

Our summer internship program offers the chance to work on meaningful projects that make a real impact. Each year, 50+ students join Sectra across multiple functions, gaining hands-on experience while being supported by dedicated mentors focused on learning, growth, and fun.

Part-time assignments

Our part-time roles give you the opportunity to contribute alongside your studies. Students are involved in areas including development, IT, analytics, HR, marketing, and finance. Many begin as summer interns and stay on during the school year, while others join us directly through part-time opportunities.

From day one, when I first entered the office, I have felt like I am part of the team. Even though I only worked a few days a week at first, my colleagues have always made sure that I am included and up to date.
